Allow me to introduce Daniel Green

Born in Waterbury, Ct; Daniel moved to California when he was 11 months old and has lived here most of his life. His mother’s family originally immigrated from Mexico in the early 20th century. His father’s family is of Irish and German descent.

Daniel fell into journalism by accident. He was still a student at Cerritos College and needed to fill a hold in his schedule. His mom suggested that he take a journalism class to see if he liked it. Luckily, Daniel took her advice and took his first step into the world of journalism. He quickly joined the school paper, becoming an assistant editor before being promoted to news editor the following semester.

Daniel decided to pursue journalism as a major and earned his degree from CSU Long Beach in 2018. After a few years in the workforce, he decided to apply to USC Annenberg to earn his master’s in Specialized Journalism.
